Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Garden Market Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail space. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about both plants and people. You'll serve as the welcoming face of Anchorage Greens, ensuring our displays are fresh, the market is organized, and customers receive exceptional service.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Garden Market

• Greet and assist customers picking up greens bags or shopping in-store

• Maintain and rotate living plant displays to ensure health and freshness

• Care for plants during their final days with us before they go home with customers

• Clean and organize retail areas to create an inviting environment

• Assist with inventory management and merchandising of other retail products

• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth market operations and high-quality service

 

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for plants and attention to detail

• Ability to manage a small space and multitask independently

• Organized, tidy, and responsive in a dynamic environment

• Experience in customer service or retail is a plus

• Reliable and ready to take ownership of the space
