Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 9 AM-5 PM

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Support team member who keeps the garden and market running smoothly. This role ensures the Gardener and Market Manager always have what they need, when they need it. You’ll handle essential cleaning and sanitizing tasks, prepare the market before opening, and step in to assist with customer service or basic gardening work as needed. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, adapting to the flow of the day, and being an important part of a small, dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive early to prepare and open the market space

• Clean, sanitize, and reset floats, beds, and work areas

• Keep the garden and retail areas tidy, organized, and well-stocked

• Assist the Gardener and Market Manager with tasks that support smooth operations

• Help with simple customer service needs during busy times

• Pitch in on basic gardening tasks when needed

• Communicate clearly and adapt to the shifting needs of the day

• Provide occasional shift coverage during planned an unplanned absences

Qualifications

• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable with cleaning and hands-on work

• Strong communicator who works well within a small team

• Able to stay flexible in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

• Comfortable interacting with customers when needed

• Organized, tidy, and attentive to detail

• Ability to lift and move equipment as part of daily tasks

• Prior experience in cleaning, gardening, or customer service is helpful but not required
